I Believe The Time is Short... Read on...

Short TimeFor those of you who have been keeping up with the international news, I am sure you are getting the feeling that the Rapture is not far off. Iran is flouting its nose at the international community regarding its development of nuclear capability. A Russian shipment of missles to Iran was intercepted supposedly by the Israeli Mossad. Iran is developing a relationship with Venezula and Venezula has agreed to replicate Irans nuclear development. With the continuing destruction of our country by our elected officials, I don't see how anyone can doubt the prophecies in scripture are rapidly coming into place. America is not is Bible prophecy. I think that this year we have seen the reasons this is so. I hate to say it, but I don't see how you can believe otherwise if you know end times events as taught in scripture. Everything that has happened recently in our own country as well as the world has been lining things up for the end times scenerio portrayed in Daniel and Revelation. Hal Lindsey has an informative webcast this week (9-11-09) . Towards the end of the video, he answers some questions which bear on the Rapture and also considers the question if anyone who has heard the Gospel before the Rapture will have a second chance. The bottom line is there is no second chance. The Bible teaches that God will send a strong delusion to those who have heard the Gospel, but rejected it, which will cause them to accept the lies of the Antichrist. Take thirty minutes and view the video. If you have friends or family members who are not saved, be sure to tell them to view it also. A lot of Christians believe the time is short. If you don't believe that, I would suggest you read some good books on the end times. I can almost guarantee that if you are a Christian, you too will believe the coming of Christ for believers is really close. If you would like some suggestions for reading, check out some books by Grant Jeffrey or Mark Hitchcock at Amazon.com or your local Christian bookstore. I don't agree with some of the minor points of Jeffrey's, but in my opinion, both these guys are right in line with traditional interpretations of end times prophecy. Their books are also written for the general public and easy to understand. There is also some online commentaries by John Walvoord at Revelation Comments. Click here to view Lindsey's video . Then go read some good books on the subject and compare them to the headlines on the Internet. I think you will see what I mean.
